7th-8th Grade

In the first game, Colton Zacherl scored on a 1 yard run with 49 seconds left in the first quarter, to give the Cats a 6-0 lead.

There was no scoring in the second and third quarters.

The Cats scored again, with 4:46 left in the game. Cal German hit Nick Frederick with a pass, in the left flat for about 10 yards and a touchdown. The two hooked up again on an identical play for the two-point conversion to set the final at 14-0.

Frederick also had a nice interception that he returned about 30 yards, on a fake punt by the Chucks, with 2:08 left in the game.

9th Grade

The Bobcat 9th graders scored their first touchdown, at 2:12 of the first quarter, when quarterback Archer Mills, followed up on a long run by Sam Minich and hit his brother, Logan Minich with a touchdown pass. Mills ran for the two-point conversion, giving the Cats an 8-0 lead.

Clarion scored twice in quarter two. The first was set up by two pass plays to Drew Wrhen. Then Logan Minich had a long run for a touchdown, at 7:49. The conversion failed and the Bobcats led 14-0.

The Cats recovered the ball on the ensuing kickoff. And Skylar Rhodes found paydirt on a 60 yard pass from Mills for a 20-0 lead, that Clarion took into halftime.

Sam Minich hit Rhodes with a 70 yard scoring pass, on a fake punt, in the third quarter. Mills PAT was good, giving the Cats a 27-0 lead, after three.

With 6:09 left in the game, Wrhen picked up a fumble and took it in for a touchdown. Mills kick was good once again, to set the final at 34-0 Cats.

The 9th graders are undefeated, so far, this season.
