Clarion’s 8th grade girls’ team ran into a buzz saw and dropped a 37-27 decision to a talented Karns City basketball team Thursday afternoon (December 3rd), in Clarion Area High School’s gymnasium. The Lady Gremlins raced out to 12-3 lead after one quarter and never looked back. Karns City led 21-9 at the half and 33-15 after three. Kyara Girvan followed closely behind with 9. Ava Cherico tallied 4 points and Emily Grabiak had a nice drive to the basket to finish with two points.
