Basketball: Craig Scores 23 As Bobcats Down Warriors, Smith, Burford And Anthony Also In Double-Figures (01/06/16)

Cameron Craig scored 23 points, including five three-point shots, as Clarion downed visiting Moniteau 74-54, on Tuesday night (January 5th). Jon Smith and Ty Burford and Ryan Anthony also hit for double-figures, with Smith netting 18, Burford 12 and Anthony ten.

The Bobcats, who are now 6-2, led 17-12 after one and 35-25 at the half. The third period closed with Clarion holding a 56-38 lead. An 18-16 advantage in the fourth set the final.

Brendan Miller added six points for the Cats. Zack Bauer and Ceventh Lynch-Skunda had two points apiece.

Aaron Marterella and Justin Waid led the Warriors with fourteen and twelve points respectively.

The Bobcats will host Brockway on Thursday (January 7th) and then travel to A-C Valley on Friday (January 8th).
