Bobcat Grapplers Fall To Brockway (01/29/16)

The Clarion Bobcat Wrestlers traveled to Brockway on Thursday (January 28th) and fell to the Rovers 37-24. The Bobcat Junior High Wrestlers dropped a 52-30 decision.

Zach Sintobin recorded a fall at 2:26 in the 220 bout. Caleb Bailey won a 6-2 decision at 138. Leo Aiello was victorious at 152, with a 6-1 decision. Alex Burkhart won 4-1 at 195 and Tom Wurster earned a 5-2 decision at 285.

Three members of the Junior High Team recorded falls: Ayden Wiles in 2:55 at 155, Justin Goodman in 1:30 at 165 and Ben Smith in 3:56 at 210.

Curtis Shipley and Bowman Hartley won by forfeit at 145 and 250 respectively.

The Bobcat Varsity will wrestle in the Fred Bell Tournament at Grove City, today and tomorrow (January 29th and 30th. They will close out the regular season with two home matches. Both Teams will host Redbank Valley on Tuesday (February 2nd) and Ridgway on Thursday (February 4th).
