Bobcat Cross Country Teams Do Well (10/01/16)

Tuesday (September 27th) was another beautiful fall afternoon as the Bobcats travelled to Clarion-Limestone and turned in some great individual and team victories in varsity boys, varsity girls, and junior high girls races.
Varsity boys, lead by overall winner Adam Bettwy (17:52) defeated Keystone 23-43 and occupied 7 out of the top 10 slots. In 4th place for the Bobcats was Nathaniel Lerch (19:02) with Marshall Powers (19:45) coming in 5th. Rounding out the top 10 were Jimmy Smathers (19:49), Nick Schill (19:52), Noah Schill (20:15) and Frank Webber (20:26). Jacob Smith (20:46) Dan Ketner (21:16) Nate Datko (22:51) Alex Cussins (23:19) and Victor Stahlman (25:40) rounded out the field of Clarion men.
 For the varsity girls, Chelsea Mason (21:45) was the overall winner followed by Katie Craig (22:13) in 2nd. Gabby Fleming(24:00) finished 4th, and Leticia Negri (25:28) finished 6th and Emma Sptiz (26:29) took 7th place.

Bobcat Junior High girls remain undefeated this season with the 25-30 victory. Evelyn Lerch (11:42) was the overall winner with Bella Scott (12:40) coming in 4th. Other top 10 finishers include; Payton Simko (12:42) Joyce Kim (13:34) Parker Boyden (13:40) and Livia Weckerly (14:44.)
Junior high boys suffered their first loss of the season, being defeated by Keystone 33-24. Overall winner Don Cunningham (11:02) led the meet with Gavin Hoover (12:11) coming in 5th place. Kaegen Phillips (12:27) came in 6th and Kade Phillips (12:56) rounded out the top 10.
