Junior High Girls Basketball A-Team Is Doing Great So Far (11/19/16)

The Clarion Area Junior High A-Team is having a successful season, so far.

The Lady Cats defeated Clarion-Limestone 23-20. Jordan Best scored eight points. Ava Cherico had six points. Maria Bradley scored 5 points, while Cait Murtha and Korrin Burns each had two points.

The locals downed Cranberry 31-8. Jordan Best scored twenty-four points. Ava Cherico had 3 points, Evelyn Lerch had 2 points and Korrin Burns and Maria Bradley each had one point.

The Bobcats were victorious against North Clarion, 30-10. Jordan Best again led Clarion, scoring fourteen points. Korrin Burns and Maria Bradley each scored four points. Chipping in with 2 points apiece were Ava Cherico, Payton Simko, Cait Murtha and Hannah Hazlett.

Korrin Burns and Jordan Best led the Lady Cats with 15 points each, as the Lady Cats downed Forest Area 54-10. Payton Simko also scored in double figures with ten. Ava Cherico added 7 points, Evelyn Lerch had 4 and Maria Bradley had one.

Jordan Best led the way against A-C Valley, with 19 points, as the Cats won 30-22. Ava Cherico had three points. Scoring two points apiece were Evelyn Lerch, Korrin Burns, Cat Murtha and Maria Bradley

The Lady Cats lone defeat in the span came to Redbank Valley, 37-23. Jordan Best and Evelyn Lerch each had seven points. Payton Simko scored four points. Ave Charico and Korrin Burns each scored two points. Maria Bradley had one point.
