Lady Cat Junior High Basketball Sweeps Cranberry (12/03/16)
The Clarion Area Junior High Basketball Teams continued their successful season, on Wednesday night (November 30th). The Lady Cats swept Cranberry, with the A-Team winning 29-21 and the B-Team prevailing 19-8.
Evelyn Lerch led the Lady Cat A-Team with ten points. Korrin Burns had 8 points and Jordan Best scored 7 points, while Hannah Hazlett and Ava Cherico contributed two points apiece.
In the B-Team game, Korrin Burns led Clarion with eight points. Paola Lopez scored 4 points, Payton Simko had three points. Makenzie Aaron and Jenna Miller each scored two points.
