Wrestling: Bobcats Compete, Mike LeFay Places Second At Fred Bell Tournament (02/01/17)

The Clarion Bobcat Wrestling Team competed at the Fred Bell Tournament at Grove City, this past weekend (Friday and Saturday, January 28th and 29th).

The Bobcats had one place winner, Mike LeFay who finished second at 152.LeFay won his first three matches, two by fall, before dropping the Championship match.

Tom Wurster was 4-2 at 220. Five Bobcats went 3-2 for the tournament. Frank Weber (132), Ben Smith (195), Colton Rapp (160), Riley McMasters (138) and Logan Dehner (106). Bryce Klawhun (182) went 1-1 and Seth Nellis was 1-2.

Also competing for the Cats were Matt Coleman (285) and Sterling Conner (145).

The Bobcats will host Brockway on Thursday (February 2nd) and will compete at the District Nine Dual Meet on Saturday (February 4th).
