Boys And Girls Golf Teams Finish Second In KSAC Mega Matches (08/30/17)

The Clarion Area Boys and Girls Golf Teams were in action, in KSAC Mega Matches on Wednesday (August 29th), with both finishing in second place.

BOYS

The Bobcats posted a 241, five strokes off Moniteau’s winning score of 236. Cam Craig finished with a 43, which tied him for third place. Jackson Fox had a 45. Josh Craig shot a 47, with Lake Staub carding a 52. Rounding out the scoring for the Cats were Mitch Geiger with a 54 and Login Dehner with a 59.

Moniteau’s Weston Kimmey took medalist honors with a 39.

GIRLS

The Lady Cats finished their match with a 173, trailing only A-C Valley, which carded a 242. Kylie Craddock shot a 50 for Clarion. Rachel Howard carded a 60, Amanda Matus recorded a 63, Maya Patterson shot a 64 and Phylicia Hockman had a 73.

A-C Valley’s Ellie Thompson was the medalist with a 46.
