Clarion River Valley Strikers Now Accepting Applications For New Developmental Soccer League (08/03/17)
(By Matt Lerch) The Clarion River Valley Strikers Soccer Club is now accepting applications until August 26 for 4-10 year olds in their new Developmental Soccer League.
The Clarion River Valley Strikers are excited to offer a developmental league for children ages 4-10 for the upcoming fall season. Our Games are played at the Clarion County Park in Shippenville, PA. Children will have a practice one day per week (the day and time to be determined by the coach).

All volunteer coaches will be provided a curriculum with a sample of weekly practice session ideas to use with their team. Experienced Striker coaches will conduct training sessions for our older groups. In addition, Sean Esterhuizen, coach of the Clarion University women’s soccer team, will hold a coaching clinic for all interested coaches and parents.
Our league is unique in that we specialize in the development of young soccer players! Participants are offered a fun and challenging learning environment that other soccer leagues cannot match! Players who demonstrate a higher skill set may be encouraged to compete on one of our Competitive u-10 Strikers teams. Each season the number of participants will be limited to ensure that each child is offered the best experience possible. One of our goals is not to be the biggest soccer club, but the best.
Our primary mission is simple….to develop soccer skills, teach sportsmanship and to create a passion for the game, all while playing soccer in a learning environment that is competitive and above all….FUN!
