Golf Summary: Bobcats and Lady Cats Have Strong Showing Last Week (09/10/17)

The Clarion Area Golf Teams had good success on the links, in KSAC Mega Matches this past week.

BOBCATS

The Boys had participated in two contests this past week, at Hi-Level on Tuesday (September 5th) and at Lake Arthur on Thursday (September 7th).

Cameron Craig led the third place Bobcats on Tuesday, with a 36, which was good enough for second place in individual honors, four strokes of the pace of medalist Weston Kimmey of first place Moniteau.

Josh Craig shot a 41, Lake Staub carded a 45, Jackson Fox and Mitch Geiger each recorded 49’s and Login Dehner scored a 55.

Moniteau had a team total of 198, while the Bobcats’ team score was 220.

Cameron Craig again led the Cats, carding a 47, followed closely by Staub who had a 49, as Clarion finished second with a 253. Moniteau won the team race again, with a 227, with Kimmey again medaling, this time with a 33.

Jackson finished with a 50, Josh Craig shot a 51, Mitch Geiger had a 56 and Login Dehner finished with a 61.

 

LADY CATS

Kylie Craddock led third place Clarion with a 53.

Amanda Manus shot a 62, Maya Patterson shot a 63, Rachel Howard scored 68 and Phylicia Hockman recorded a 74.

The Lady Cats shot 178 as a team. Ellie Thompson was the medalist, with a 43, leading A-C Valley victory, in the team standings. The Falcons totaled 133.
