Clarion-Limestone Boys Soccer Team Wins Pair (10/04/17)

The Clarion-Limestone Boys Ssoccer Team put in a dominating performance, against the Keystone Panthers, on Tuesday with a 7-0 win.

Braden Peters notched a hat trick in the first half, with two unassisted goals and a goal off an assist by Kyle Schonbachler. Peters would go on to score two more goals in the second half to end with 5 goals total.

Also tallying goals in the second half were Issac Kim off an assist by Donovan Montgomery and Ty Blake. Harrison Porter earned the shut out in net for the Lions.

The Lions improve to 5-1 on the season.


The Clarion-Limestone Boys Soccer Team improved to 6-1 on the season with a 14-1 win over Kane Tuesday, Oct. 3rd.

Ty Blake started off the scoring for the Lions less than a minute in off an assist by Austin Coull.

Kane then quickly answered back with a goal of their own by Detrick.

The Lions would then go on to score 7 more unanswered goals in the first half. Braden Peters led the scoring with 4 goals, with Ty Blake assisting on one of those goals. Beau Verdill and Isaac Kim would both score goals, assisted by Peters. Kyle Schonbachler tallied the other goal for C-L off an assist by Beau Verdill.

Kane battled hard to start the second half,  but the Lions would keep them off the board. C-L went on to score 6 more goals on their way to a 14-1 victory.

Peters would register 2 of those goals, off assists by Jake Burns and Ty Blake. The other 4 goals for the Lions came from Ben Murtha assisted by Kyle Schonbachler, Austin Coull assisted by Ty Blake, Beau Verdill assisted by Austin Coull, and Marshal powers off a PK. Harrison Porter earned the win in net for the Lions with 2 saves.
