Junior High Girls Basketball Teams Down A-C Valley (11/13/17)

Congratulations to the Junior High Girls’ Basketball teams for two more wins on their very successful seasons so far.

The “A” team kept everyone on the edge of their seats against AC Valley with a score of 27-22.  Aryana Girvan and Jordan Best both finished with 6 points, Evelyn Lerch had 5 points, Korrin Burns and Paola Lopez had 4 points, and Payton Simko finished with 2 points.  I was very excited to see that the pressure and atmosphere of the game did not deter the girls from playing to their best ability.

The “B” team got off to a great start and never looked back with a score of 18-3 against ACV. Bri Pierce had an all around strong game with 6 points, Maddie Watterson had 4 points, and McKayla Kerle, Anna Gribik, Grace Ochs, and Chesney Boggess all finished with a bucket too.

Coach Toth was happy to see that our work with help defense and fast breaks at practices are carrying over into games.
