KSAC Announces 2018 Spring Sports All-Conference Teams, Brendan Zerfoss Boys’ Track MVP (05/22/18)

The Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference has announced their 2018 Spring Sports All-Conference Teams and Clarion Area is well represented.

Brendan Zerfoss was named Boys’ Track MVP. Zerfoss was named to the First Team in the 100, 200 and 400. He was also named to the First Team in the 1600 relay, along with Don Cunningham, Austin Hummell and Marshall Powers.

Nathaniel Lerch made the First Team in the 3200. He also made the Second Team in the 1600. The 3200 relay, consisting of Cunningham, Nick Schill, Noah Schill and Austin Hummell also were named to the First Team. Hummell was also named to the Second Team in the 800.

Laken Lewis and Lexie Lauer were both named to the First Team in the Girls’ high jump. Lewis was also named to the First Team in the long jump and to the Second Team in both the triple jump and pole vault. Kyara Girvan was named to the Second Team in the 200.

The Lady Cats Softball Team had four players named to the Second Team. Sydney Kiser was named in the outfield. Maya Thornton was named as a first baseman. Alexis Constantino was named as an infielder and Sadie Rudesyle was named as a pitcher.

Brody Coleman from Keystone was named Boys’ Field MVP. A-C Valley’s Emma Fox and Karns City’s Rebecca Pennington were named Girls’ Track Co-MVPs. North Clarion’s Tori Obenrader and Moniteau’s Cambrie Campbell were Girls’ Field Co-MVPs.

Andrea Watson from Moniteau was named Softball MVP.
