Tri-City Thunder Goes 4-0 To Win IUP Showcase Tournament (06/15/18)

The Tri-City Thunder 16-Under won the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Showcase Tournament. The Thunder went 4-0 for the weekend, with the Tourney being shortened due to rain.

Missing: Emily Finley and Kelsey Stuart.

On Friday  they downed West Hills 13-3 and then the Juniata Jaguars 8-2.

Tri-City picked up their other two victories on Saturday. They opened with a 9-0 win over the North Hills Warpath and followed with a 6-1 victory over Winning Edge Energy, in the final game of pool play.

Clarion’s Kaitlynn Constantino had a hit in both the West Hills and North Hills Warpath games.

The Thunder is made up of eleven players from seven schools throughout the area and is coached by Greg Houck, Dave Constantino and Dave Stryffeler.
