Help The Summer Fit Program Grow!

WPAL DuBois will be holding a 2018 Summer Family Fun Raffle.  All proceeds will go towards the  WPAL Youth Summer Fit Program. The prize package will have a summer/family/fun theme. This where we need your help. We are reaching out to local businesses in an effort to find items for the Prize Package

Your donation may be made in any one or more of the following forms:

Merchandise

Gift Certificates for products and/or Services

Monetary Donation

Any other item that may fit the theme

If you would like to donate an item, please contact us via email info@wpal.org or Trainer Kristy at 814-541-0129.  We would appreciate a commitment to donations no later than Tuesday, June 26, 2018.  We can communicate/arrange pick-up or drop off at a later date.

June 5th, we will started a Youth Summer Fit Club, free of charge to youth ages 6-18.  Once the youth register, they will sign up for their free WPAL membership. Each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:30-12, there will be a trainer or instructor in house to provide guidance in weekly workouts, wellness & nutrition education, and other fun activities.  The program is open house style, so kids are welcome to come for whatever portion they are available as long as they are registered. Workouts, activities, and education will meet the needs of varying ages and physical abilities. This program is completely free to kids ages 6-18. The Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization, that offers FREE membership to local youth ages 8-18, FREE membership for Law Enforcement Officials, and low cost Membership fees for Adults. The gym is an outlet to provide local youth a place to prevent them from using Drugs or participating illegal activity. This also helps to strengthen Police-Community relationships.
