DuBois WPAL Hosting PA Golden Gloves Tournament Saturday, March 16th At DuBois Country Club (02/19/19)

We would like to invite you to The DuBois Country Club on Saturday, March 16th for amateur boxing at its finest. The Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League, is thrilled to announce, for the seventh consecutive year, the Pennsylvania Golden Gloves Championships will be returning to our local community.

The DuBois Country Club, located at 10 Lakeside Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801, will be hosting this year’s event. Doors will open at 6:30pm. Boxing will begin at 7:30pm. The evening will feature approximately 8 live bouts ranging from first round to semi-final fights in various weight classes and divisions. We are thrilled to have just eclipsed our three (3) year anniversary at the WPAL Fitness Center! This gym offers 100% free memberships to anyone between the ages of six and eighteen. The WPAL also encourages law enforcement officials to work out in our gyms free of charge. WPAL is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization devoted to the youth by encouraging them to “believe in themselves” while emphasizing the importance of self-esteem, confidence, self-control and self-respect.
