Coach Pennnington shared her thoughts on the meet: The Clarion Area  boys pulled out a win which was a complete team effort,  as many of our members scored points. We did a little adjusting which the boys adapted to quickly and worked together. Some young men also tried some new events and it worked out well.

Don Cunningham had 3 first place finished – 400 and was a member of 2 relays. Josh Mitchell is starting to make his mark on the track as well in the hurdles and sprints.

Our throwers are really coming along with the help of our newest Coaching edition Keith Martz. And our jumping squad had another solid performance with from Gavin Brinkley qualifying for districts in the high jump.

Our ladies fell short today,  but not without showing true heart. We had some improvement and confidence from some of our freshmen on the track and in the field. In the throws Rebekah Ketner is finding her groove and our jumpers, Laken Lewis and Wendy Beveridge continue to put up strong performances.

Senior Phylicia Hockman is conditioning by running against the clock with her teammates cheering her on. When this group of girls are all healthy, they will be a force to be reckoned with.

(Keep up the good work, Cats!!!!)
