Lady Cats Spikers Down Altoona (09/08/19)

The Clarion Area Lady Cat Volleyball Team traveled to Altoona, on Thursday (September 5th) to take on the Lady Mountain Lions. And when the dust cleared the Lady Cats came away with a three set victory (25-11, 25-19, 25-22).

Clarion had a number of players make big contributions. Brenna Campbell had 12 service points, six digs and dished out thirty assists. Kait Constantino had 10 kills and seven digs. Korrin Burns scored 5 points, had 8digs and eleven kills. K.K. Girvan scored 6 points and had thirteen digs.

Jordan Best contributed 5 points and Maddie Schill registered four kills.

The Lady Cat Junior Varsity fell in two very close sets, with each ending 24-26.

The Lady Cats played at the Reading Tournament on Saturday. Clarion Sports Zone will post an article on that tournament in the next day or so. The Lady Cats will travel to Karns City on Tuesday.
