The Clarion-Limestone Soccer Team traveled to St. Mary’s Wednesday, Sept. 25th.

The Dutchman were the first and only team to score in the first half. For a score of 1-0.

After the halftime break, the Lions defense held strong, but the offense couldn’t get too much past the St. Marys defensive line, on the very small soccer field.

St. Marys worked another one in past the C-L defense and goalie.

Beau Verdill surrounded by a host of St. Marys players.

The final goal of the game came from Beau Verdill with Nate Megnin getting the assist. Despite the tough defensive line and the strong offense, the Lions just could not make the proper adjustments on the small field.

The final score was 2-1, St. Mary’s.

The Lions next game is at home on Saturday, September 28th, at 9:30AM where they meet up with theBrookville Raiders!
