Austin Newcomb Named To D9Sports.Com Week 8 Football Honor Roll (10/23/19)

D9Sports.com has announced their Week 8 Football Honor Roll and Clarion Area Bobcat Austin Newcomb is one of the players named.

Austin, who was named for his stellar play in the Bobcats 63-13 victory over Brockway on Friday (October 19th), went over the 1,000 yard mark on the season and the 4,000 yard plateau during the game. Austin had 113 yards on 8 carries, with two touchdowns. He also had a 41 yard touchdown reception and returned a kickoff for an 86 yard touchdown.

Two players from Otto-Eldred were selected as Co-Players of the Week, for their strong performances, in the Terrors’ 76-30 win against Sheffield.

Cameron Magee tied for second most interceptions in a game, in District 9 history, snagging four passes. He also had 2 receptions that covered 87 yards, both resulting in touchdowns.

Terror quarterback, Cole Sebastion threw for 4 touchdowns, while going 12-for-20 for 235 yards. He also carried the ball 6 times for 148 yards and three touchdowns.
