Bobcat Boys Finish Second In KSAC Cross Country Meet, Girls Finish Sixth (10/22/19)

The Clarion Area Boys Cross Country Team finished second and the Girls finished sixth, in the Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference (KSAC) Championships, at the Clarion County Park on Thursday (October 17th).

Nathaniel Lerch led all Clarion runners with a second place in the Boys Race, with a time of 17:54.61.

Other Bobcat Boys in the Top 10 were: Gavin Hoover (18:33.12) in sixth, Don Cunningham (18:33.12) in ninth and Nick Frederick (18:47.59) in tenth.

Cranberry’s Matthew Woodcock finished in first place with a time of 17:31.74.

The Top 5 Teams were: Cranberry – first, Clarion – second, North Clarion – third, Keystone – fourth and Clarion-Limestone – fifth.

Grace Adams was the top finisher for the Lady Cats, finishing in eighteenth place, with a time of 25:04.02.

Cranberry’s Kalynnne Zeigler finished first in the Girls Race with a time of 21:26.52.

The Top 5 Teams were: North Clarion – first, Cranberry – second, Moniteau – third, A-C Valley – fourth and Keystone – fifth.

The Clarion Junior High Boys finished in fifth place. Other Top 5 finishers were: North Clarion – first, Karns City – second, Clarion-Limestone – third and Keystone – fourth.

The top place winner for the Bobcats was Wyatt Boyden in twelfth place with a time of 11:07.52.

The Clarion Junior High Girls finished behind Cranberry, for second place, followed by North Clarion – third and Moniteau – fourth.

Gia Babington was Clarion’s top finisher, placing fifteenth, with a time of 11:17.23.
