The Clarion-Limestone Junior High Boys Cross country team is celebrating the end to a great regular season and are looking forward to the upcoming championship meets.

The Lions team went undefeated this season across the KSAC, with perfect scores during two dual meets. For a perfect score, the Lions runners took first , second, third, fourth and fifth places.  The team is looking forward to the KSAC championship meet that will be held on October 17th, at Clarion County park, where they face off with all of the teams they have seen this season one more time.

Adding to their early season success, the Lions attended the Big Red invitational in West Middlesex and took second place, competing against 28 other teams from across the state.  Individually, four of the C-L runners took home top finisher medals finishing in the top 50 out of 230 runners.

Lions proudly display their Big Red Invitational Medals.

The Lions have more fun left in the month of October with the Ridgway Invitational this Saturday, Rocky Grove Invitational on October 12th, KSACs on the 17th, and the Kane Middle School District Championships on October 26th.

The Clarion-Limestone Junior High Cross Country is made up of six runners, with the top five runners on each team count towards the teams total score.
