Brenna Campbell Named First Ever D9Sports.com, District Nine All-District Volleyball MVP, KK Girvan, Korrin Burns, Kait Constantino Also On Team (11/20/19)

D9Sports.com has announced their innagural District Nine All-District Volleyball Team and the Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference and District Nine Class-A champion Clarion Area Lady Cats, are well represented.

Leading the way for Clarion, who made it all the way to the PIAA semifinals, falling to eventual State Champion, Northern Cambria, is junior setter Brenna Campbell, who was named the 2019 MVP, as well as First Team setter.

Two other Lady Cats join Brenna on the is joined on the First Team, senior libero KK Girvan and sophomore outside hitter Korrin Burns.

Rounding out the Clarion Area contingent is senior outside hitter Kait Constantino, who was named to the Second Team.

Brookville ‘s Joyce Reitz, whose Lady Raiders won the District Nine Class-AA championship, was named Coach of the Year.

In addition to Brenna, KK and Korrin, the First Team consists of middle hitter Lauren Hergert from Brookville, middle hitter Sydney Kaschalk from DuBois, Libero Alayna Cornelius from DuBois and outside hitter Taylor Newton from Elk County Catholic.

Joining Kait on the Second Team are middle hitter Taylor King from Redbank Valley, middle hitter Ava Ferringer from Cranberry, Libero Maddie Cornelius from Cranberry, setter Cate Gregory from DuBois, Libero Haylee Cherry from Johnsonburg and outside hitter Audri Marconi from Kane.
