Boys Basketball: Bobcats Drop Close Game To Keystone (12/12/19)

The Clarion Area Bobcats fell to the homestanding Keystone Panthers 39-37, on Wednesday (December 11th).

The Cats led 13-6 after one period. The Panthers had a 12-9 second quarter advantage, leaving Clarion with a 22-18 lead at halftime. Keystone had a one-point, 12-11 advantage in the third. The Bobcats now had a 33-30 lead heading to the final stanza. But a 9-4 fourth quarter edge by the Panthers, sealed the win.

Nick Frederick led the the Bobcats with 10 points, followed by Josh Craig and Skyler Rhoades with ten points apiece. Cal German had 4 points, Beau Verdill scored 3 points and Hunter Craddock had two points.

The Panthers were led by Troy Johnson, with 9 points and Alex Rapp, with seven points.

The Bobcats will travel to Moniteau on Friday (December 13th).
