Girls Basketball: Kait Constantino Leads Lady Cats To Victory Over Moniteau (12/14/15)

Kaait Constantino had a game high 28 points, including 2 three-pointers, to lead the Clarion Area Lady Cats to a 51-44 KSAC Large School victory over the visiting Moniteau Lady Warriors, on Friday (December 13th).

Moniteau held a 13-11 lead after one, and with a 12-11 edge in the second, the Warriors carried a 25-22 lead into the half.

Clarion came out big defensively in the third, limiting Moniteau to just six points, while scoring fourteen of their own. After taking a 36-31 lead into the final stanza, the Bobcats outscored the Warriors 15-13, to set the final.

Jordan Best followed Constantino with nine points for the Lady Cats. KK Girvan had 5 points, Payton Simko and Eva Lerch each hit on a three-pointer. Noel Anthony had two points, and Jenna Miller and Rebekah Ketner had one point apiece.

Kristin Auvil and Aslyn Pry led Moniteau with 14 and 10 points respectively.

Clarion will host Redbank Valley, on Tuesday (December 17th), as part of a Boys/Girls Double-header. The Girls game will begin at 6:00PM.
