Bobcat Grapplers Fall To Brockway (01/22/20)

The Clarion Area Wrestlers fell to the homestanding Brockway Rovers 42-6, on Tuesday (January 21st).

Cutter Boggess had the Bobcats’ lone victory, winning by fall in 2:56 at 170.

There were no matches at 106, 113, 132, 182 and 220. The Rovers won by forfeit at 120, 126. Brockway recorded a decision at 285, a major decision at 152, a technical fall at 160 and falls at 138, 145 and 195.

The Bobcat Junior High Wrestlers dropped their match 45-36.

Bobcats Holden Sparks (138) and Brock Champluvier (285) won by fall.

Winning by forfeit for Clarion were Kaden Ferguson (80), Ethan Lloyd (94), Zane Van Tassel (101) and Doug Fox (210).

The Bobcat Varsity will compete in the Fred Bell Tournament at Grove City on Friday and Saturday (January 24th and 25th).
