Basketball: Bobcats Down Brockway On Senior Night (02/11/20)

With three players scoring in double-figures, the Clarion Bobcats downed visiting Brockway 54-41, in a non-conference game on Senior Night, on Monday (February 10th).

Before the game, the Bobcats honored their four seniors, Skylar Rhoades, Mitch Geiger, Nick Frederick, Josh Craig and their parents. (Congratulations to these fine young men and their parents!!!!)

Cal German had a game high 22 points for the Bobcats, Hunter Craddock scored 14 and Nick Frederick followed with eleven, including a three-pointer.

The Cats led 15-8 after one and outscored the Rovers, 14-10 in period two, to take a 29-18 lead into halftime. The third saw each team score 15 points, giving Clarion a 44-33 lead headed to the last stanza. A 10-8 edge by the Cats, in the fourth, set the final.

Beau Verdill, Josh Craig and Skylar Rhoades each scored 2 points for the Cats.

The Rovers were led by Alec Freemer and Jared Marchiori who scored 9 and eight points respectively.

The Bobcats, now 13-8, will travel to Karns City on Wednesday (February, 12th), in the regular season finale.
