Bobcats Down Union In KSAC Crossover Basketball Action, Move To 4-1

The Clarion Area Bobcat Boys Basketball Team moved to 4-1 by downing visiting Union, 62-28 in a KSAC crossover game, on Wednesday (January 20th).

The Bobcats held a 20-9 lead after one quarter and outscored the Golden Knights 21-6 in the second, to take a 41-15 lead into halftime.

Union had an 11-10 scoring edge in the third, giving the Bobcats a 51-26 edge heading to the final stanza. An 11-2 Bobcat edge set the final.

Four Bobcats scored in double-figures: Cal German with 15, Beau Verdill and Hunter Craddock with 14 apiece and Christian Simko with ten. Beau had a double-double as he also pulled down ten rebounds. Dawson Smail had three points.

Ezra Brooks, Dauntae Girvan and Ryan Alston each chipped in two points.

The Bobcats are scheduled to travel to Clarion-Limestone tomorrow (Friday, January 22nd).
