Lady Cats Down Forest Area In KSAC Crossover Basketball Game

The homestanding Clarion Area Lady Cats downed Forest Area, 48-19, in a Keystone Athletic Conference crossover game on Friday (January, 29th).

Erica Selfridge led the Lady Cats with 17 points, including 3 three-pointers. Jordan Best followed with 13 points, while Ava Cherico added eight, including a trey.

Noel Anthony scored 5 points and Taylor Alston recorded two.

The Lady Cats led 16-3 after one and 30-11 at the half. With an 18-5 edge in the third, Clarion held a 48-16 lead headed to the final quarter. A 3-0 edge by the Fires, in the fourth, set the final.

Izzi Flick and Jessica Wagner led Forest Area with six points each.

Clarion is scheduled to host Moniteau on Tuesday (February 2nd) and then travel to Redbank Valley on Friday (February 5th).
