Lady Cats Down Golden Damsels 36-35 In KSAC Basketball Action

The Clarion Area Lady Cats downed the homestanding Union Golden Damsels 36-35, in KSAC Basketball action on Tuesday (January 19th).

Jordan Best led the way for the Lady Cats with 13 points, with Erica Selfridge contributing eleven. Payton Simko recorded 7 points and Noel Anthony contributed five.

Clarion led 9-5 at the end of the first. With a 12-6 Union edge in the second, the Damsels held a 17-15 lead. The Bobcats had a 9-4 third quarter advantage to head to the final stanza up 24-20. Union outscored clarion 14-12 in the fourth to set the final.

Dominika Lougue led Union with twelve points.

The Lady Cats are scheduled to host Clarion-Limestone on Thursday (January 21st).
