Kameron Kerle Earns Medalist Honors To Lead Bobcats To KSAC Golf Mega Match 2 Win

The Clarion Area Bobcats won their second KSAC Mega Match in as many tries, with a win at Aubrey’s Dubbs Dred golf Course in Butler, on Tuesday (August 24th).

The Cats were led by medalist Kameron Kerle, who shot a 38, to edge Moniteau’s Jacob Felsing by one stroke. Two other Bobcats finished in the Top Five, with Lucas Mitrosky taking third with a 41 and Mckayla Kerle earning a fourth place tie with Cranberry’s Dane Wenner, as both carded 42’s.

Devon Lauer just missed a Top Five finish, carding a 43 and tying Clarion-Limestone’s Nick Aaron for sixth. Also competing for the Cats were Owen Kriebel, who recorded a 46 and Avery Kline shot a 48.

As a team, the Bobcats shot a 210, twenty-two strokes ahead of second place Cranberry. Rounding out the Top Five teams were Moniteau with a 236, Clarion-Limestone with a 249 and Forest Area with a 256.

The Bobcats’ next action will be next Tuesday (August 31st) in KSAC Mega Match #3, at Foxburg Country Club.
