Coach Lee Weber had this to say, “It was a good experience to wrestle these large schools.  It let them know that we can compete with them.

“Logan Powell went 3-0 and beat 2 solid kids from Fox Chapel and Central Catholic! Mason Gourley went 1-2 and lost to 2 very good wrestlers. Those losses will help him better prepare for the district run. Holden Sparks went 0-3 but will accept any challenge.

“152 Ashton Rex went 1-2. His matches are always back and forth with lots of exciting moments. 160 Breckin Rex 2-1 was wrestling tougher in the 3rd period. 172 Caleb Edmonds 2-1 also is getting tougher as match goes on. 172

“Chesney Boggess 1-0 picked up a forfeit against West Mifflin. 215 Caleb Edmonds 3-0 sealed the deal for us with a pin against Central Catholic!  285 Josh Beal 3-0 is wrestling with more confidence!”

(Great Work, Bobcats!!!!)
