First Annual WPAL Glow Golf For First Responders set for the Weekend of 9/11

Glow in the Dark Golf is returning to DuBois Country Club on Saturday September 10th, but this time with a twist. The WPAL has chosen to move the date to September 10th this year and plans to honor First Responders that gave so much that fateful day on September 11, 2001.
The last event was waiting list only. It was a huge tremendous success! Fun was had by all! It is quite the sight to see the Country Club all lit up with LED Flashing lights and hearing everyone having so much fun definitely makes it all with it.
There will be a variety of tributes to our Local First Responders and a Moment of Memorial for those lost on the tragic day.
The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 10th, at the DuBois Country Club. Golfers will compete in a 4-Person Scramble. This time Golfers will play 9 Holes of Daylight golf before heading out for the 9 Holes of Glowing Fun! There will be a prize for the best Team Score made up of all First Responders. Prizes for Best Dressed and Best Decorated Cart.
Registration and BBQ will start at 2:00pm. Shotgun start at 3:00 p.m. All glow materials, food, and beverage will be included for each player participating. This will be an exciting and fun event for all ages. Cost is $75-100 per player.

The WPAL is looking for Sponsors. Event Sponsor – $5000, Cannon Sponsor – $2500, Patriotic Sponsor $2500, Beer Cart Sponsor $1000, Challenge Sponsor – $500, and Hole Sponsors – $100, to help cover the cost of materials.
