Clarion Area Boys Finish Ninth At Titusville Cross Country Invitational

The Clarion Boys Team finished ninth, with a 310 team total, at the Titusville Cross Country Invitational, on Saturday (September 3rd).

Hayden Weber led the Bobcats, finishing in 43rd place with a time of 18:44. Jonas Wilshire finished 52nd, with an 18:51.

Clarion had two other runners clocked in under twenty minutes, Ben Lambert with a 19:53 and Joshua Turner at 19:59. Also competing for the Bobcats were. Nathan Frederick, Brendan Bettwy, Ky Clark and Ben Aaron.

Clarion had no girls in the Varsity match.

The Clarion Area Junior High Girls totaled 223, to finish tenth in their race. Maggie Snodgrass led Clarion with a 112:11 for 33rd place. Also competing were Callie Snodgrass, Maddy Schill, Edna Scheftic, Kara Wilson and Eve Gilmore. Three Bobcats ran in the Boys Junior High Race led by Chris Kim who finished 37th with a time of 10:51. Also competing for Clarion were Anthony Bartley and Wyatt Aaron.

Clarion-Limestone finished thirteenth in the Boys Varsity Race, with a 343 total. Logan Lutz led the Lions with an 18:20 for 36th place. Jack Craig also finished in under twenty minutes with a 19:07 for 58th.

Clarion-Limestone had three runners in the Girls Varsity Race, led by Adisen Jackson, who was 48th at 21:15.

The Lions’ Girls Junior High Team finished second, led by Julianna Schwabenbauer who ran an 11:10 for 12 place.

C-L’s Junior High Boys finished fifth, led by Drake Edmonds, who was 11th at 9:49.
