Bobcats Down Damsels In KSAC Volleyball Action

The Clarion Area Bobcats hosted the Union Damsels on Tuesday (September 27th) and came away with a 3-0 (25-10, 25-8, 25-10) win.

For the Bobcats:

Taylor Alston led the scoring with 15 points (2 aces), to go along with 4digs and four kills. Grace Ochs handed out 28 assists, in addition to 12 points (4 aces) and a dig. Adia Needham had 12 points, 6 kills and a dig. Aryanna Girvan delivered on 10 kills, 4 points and four digs.

Sophie Babington had 5 points (2 aces) and three kills. Bri Pierces scored 3 points (2 aces). Hadlee Campbell contributed 6 kills, 1 point and three digs.

Kelsey Best served for two points. Anna O’Toole added a kill.

The Clarion Junior Varsity won their match 2-0 (25-7, 25-12).

Rhiannon Copenhaver delivered 13 points (4 aces), 11 assists, a kill and a dig. Anna O’Toole scored 15 points (5 aces), to go along with a kill and a dig. Natalie Durish had 7 points (2 aces), 6 kills and a dig.

Kelsey Best had an ace and a dig. Alicyn Burford recorded two kills. Lauren Brinkley and Alivia Diehl each had a kill.

The Bobcats are scheduled to visit Conneaut Area tonight (Wednesday, September 28th).
