Clarion Assistant Coach Jackie Kerle had this to say about the Bobcats, “We succeeded in our clean sweep of the KSAC again this year. We have a team competing in Districts on the 28th to try and defend the District Nine Class AA title. We have 6 individual district qualifiers; Kameron, Devon, McKayla, Lucas, Tanner and James.”

This years qualifying standard is to have an average below 47.0, with each school being able to take two golfers to represent the school, even if their average isn’t below 47.

Coach and proud dad Jay Kerle with McKayla. Last night was senior recognition.

Last night was senior recognition night. There are 15 KSAC golfers graduating this year, which is always a little sad to see them play their last high school golf match.

It may be a little more bittersweet this year because one of them is my own.  All of the seniors have been fun to watch over the past few years.
