Volleyball: Bobcats Down Forest Area In Straight Sets
The Clarion Bobcats Volleyball Team traveled to East Forest High School on Thursday (October 6th) and came away with a straight set (25-1, 25-12, 25-4) victory over the Forest Area Fires. The Bobcat Junior Varsity also won in straight sets (25-14, 25-6).
Varsity
Grace Ochs led the Bobcats in scoring and assists, with 17 points (8 aces) and eighteen assists. Taylor Alston had 14 points (7 aces) and four kills. Natalie Durish contributed 12 points (5 aces) and four kills. Anna O’Toole scored 10 points (2 aces) and delivered 5 kills and three digs. Bri Pierce contributed 6 points (3 aces and an assist.

Sophie Babington had 4 kills and an ace and Marley Kline contributed an ace.
Junior Varsity
Durish had 16 points (6 aces), 1 kill and a dig. O’Toole recorded 10 points (4 aces) and a pair of kills. Rhiannon Copenhaver registered 5 points (2 aces) and nine digs. Lauren Brinkley scored 4 points (3 aces), knocked down 4 kills and gathered two digs. Kelsey Best contributed 3 points (1 ace) and a dig.

Alivia Diehl had a kill and a dig. Alicyn Burford scored a point and Becca Wolbert had a kill.
The Bobcats are scheduled to play at North Clarion on Tuesday (October 11th).
