The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) has released their State Baseball Playoff brackets, And the Clarion Bobcats will take part in a First Round triple-header, which will include two other District Nine teams at Showers Field in DuBois, on Monday (June 9th).
The District 9 Class-1A Champion Bobcats will face District 6 Runner-up Harmony in the middle game, set for 3:30 p.m. The winner will face the winner of the game between District 7 (WPIAL) Champion and District 10 Runner-up Saegertown, in the Quarterfinals on Thursday (June 8th).
The first game, at Showers Field on Monday, will be a Class-2A matchup between District Nine Champion Redbank Valley and the District 7 Third Place Team, Burgettstown set for 1:00 p.m.
In the final Game, at Showers Field, a Class-3A contest set for 6:00 p.m., District Nine Champion Punxsutawney will face District 7 Runner-up Neshannock.
Tickets go on sale at 4:00 p.m. this afternoon (Friday, June 2nd).
