Bobcats Win KSAC 2023 Boys Golf Mega Match #2

The Clarion Area Bobcats won the Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference (KSAC) 2023 Boys Golf Mega Match #2, held at Slippery Rock Golf Club on Monday (August 28th).

The Bobcats finished the match with a 211 total. Kameron Kerle was the event’s medalist with a two over 37. Devon Lauer was one shot off the pace at 38. The other golfers included in the Bobcats total were: Lucas Mitrosky with a 41, Tanner Miller at 44 and Parker Miller at 51. Also competing for the Cats was Avery Kline who finished with a 58.

The Team Standings were: First Place – Clarion (211); Second Place – (Tie) North Clarion and Moniteau (233); Fourth Place – Cranberry (235); Fifth Place – Clarion-Limestone (243); Sixth Place – Keystone (251); Seventh Place – A-C Valley/Union (253); Eighth Place – Karns City (271); and Ninth Place – Forest Area (291).

The Individual Top Ten included: First Place: Cameron Kerle – Clarion (37); Second Place (3-Way Tie): Devon Lauer – Clarion, Mason Shaftic – North Clarion and Joe Rapp – A-C Valley/Union (38); Fifth Place: Sean Karg, Keystone (39); Sixth Place (3-Way Tie): Lucas Mitrosky – Clarion, Caden Baker – Cranberry and Chloe Fritch – Karns City (41); Ninth Place: Ethan Carll – North Clarion; and Tenth Place: Dawson Wallace Moniteau (43).

The next Boys Mega Match is scheduled for Thursday (August 31st) at Hunter’s Station Golf Club at Tionesta.
