Bobcat Golfers Clinch Fifth Straight KSAC Title

With their eighth straight Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference (KSAC) Boys Golf Mega Match win, at Foxburg Country Club on Tuesday, September 19th, Coach Jay Kerle’s Bobcats notched their fifth straight KSAC Championship.

Clarion finished at 201. The rest of the field included: 2) North Clarion (225); 3) Keystone (228); 4) Cranberry (229); 5) Moniteau (230); 6) A-C Valley/Union; 7) Forest Area (270); 8) Clarion-Limestone (286); and 9) Karns City (464).

The Cats were led by Medalist Devon Lauer, who carded a 35. One shot behind was Bobcat teammate Kam Kerle at 36, with Tanner Miller finishing in a tie for third place, with A-C Valley/Union’s Joe Rapp, at 37.

James Keenen tied Cranberry’s Dalton Wenner and Moniteau’s Corbin Fallen for fourteenth, with a score of 45. Avery Kline carded a 48, to finish in a tie for twenty-fifth with A-C Valley/Union’s Hudson Bliss and Forest Area’s Kenyon Custer. Lucas Mitrosky shot a 49 for twenty-eighth place; his score wasn’t included in the team score.

Other Top Ten individual finishers included: fifth place: Sean Karg – Keystone, Baden Baylor – Keystone and Ethan Carll – North Clarion (40); eighth place: Nick Aaron – Keystone and Dane Wenner – Cranberry (41); and tenth place: Cayden Baker – Cranberry and Keegan Book – Moniteau (43).
