Bobcat Linksters Remain Undefeated With KSAC Boys Mega Match #6 Win At Wanango, Devon Lauer Medalist

The Clarion Bobcat Boys Golfers won the Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference (KSAC) Mega Match #6 at Wanango Country Club in Reno, on Tuesday (September 12th), to remain undefeated at 6-0.
The Cats recorded a score of 201, twenty-five strokes ahead of Cranberry, who finished second at 226. Moniteau was third at 237. Fourth place went to North Clarion at 242. A-C Valley/Union shot a 251 for sixth place. Keystone was seventh at 258. Forest Area, at 269, finished eighth and Karns City was ninth at 284.
Every Bobcat shot under 45, with five finishing in the Top Ten. They were led by Devon Lauer, who won medalist honors, with a 2-under par 35.
Kameron Kerle finished in a tie for fifth place with Keystone’s Cranberry’s Dalton Wenner at 40. Lucas Mitrosky finished seventh with a 41. Avery Kline shot a 42 for eighth place. Tanner Miller was ninth at 43.
James Keenen shot a 49, but his score wasn’t counted in the team total.
Other golfers finishing in the Top Ten include: Keystone’s Sean Karg, who was second at 36, Ethan Carll from North Clarion, who shot a 37 for third place, Cranberry’s Caden Baker, whose 39 was good for fourth and Clarion-Limestone’s Jack Callen who shot a 44 for tenth place.
