Bobcats First In KSAC Boys’ Golf Mega Match #4

The Clarion Bobcats won their fourth straight Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Boys’ Golf Mega Match, at Aubrey’s Dubb Dred Golf Course, on Tuesday (September 5th). With the win the Bobcats remain undefeated.

The Bobcats carded a 211. Cranberry was second at 231. In third was Keystone, with a 236. Clarion-Limestone took the fourth spot at 237. With a 239, North Clarion finished fifth. Moniteau registered a 242 for sixth place. A-C Valley/Union was 7th, with a 245 total and Forest Area was eighth, with a 270 total.

Clarion’s Devon Lauer and Kameron Kerle, along with Cranberry’s Cayden Baker tied for medalist honors with 41’s.

The Bobcats’ Lucas Mitrosky and Keystone’s Sean Karg were one shot off the pace, at 42, to tie for fourth place. Clarion’s James Keenen and Keystone’s Joe Rapp tied for sixth at 43.

There was a three-way tie to finish out the individual top ten, between Clarion’s Tanner Miller, A-C Valley/Union’s Koen Strauser and Moniteau’s Dawson Wallace, with each carding a 44.

KSAC Boy’s Golf Director Ken Lancaster said, “Scores are extremely close this year and every stroke is making a difference.  Great job everyone. (It) is nice to see the competition so close.”
