Josh Turner ran a tough race finishing 14th in 18:25 and just missing the cut for individual qualifiers by two places. Caleb Turner turned in a personal record finishing in 20:01.
The Bobcat team finished 5th in a very competitive field that saw Brookville win and Cranberry finish as the runner-up a repeat in team qualifiers from last year. Eli Schrieber a sophomore from Ridgway was your surprise overall individual champion. Elk County Catholic and Ridgway occupied the 3rd and fourth places.
Clarion saw a reversal of fortunes, beating both KSAC Champ, Clarion-Limestone and North Clarion who had bested them a week ago in KSAC Championships.
Saturday’s finish represents the Bobcats best team finish since 2019.
District 9 will be well represented at the state meet!
