Bobcats Down Bulldogs In KSAC Volleyball Semifinal, Advance To Tonight’s (Wednesday, October 18th) Championship Match Against Lions

The Clarion Area Bobcats downed the Redbank Valley Bulldogs 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-21) in their Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference (KSAC) Volleyball Championship Tournament semifinal at PennWest Clarion’s Tippin Gymnasium, on Tuesday (October 17th).

Addiwyn Campbell scored 15 service points (2 aces), for the Bobcats, handed out 27 assists, gathered a pair of digs and knocked down a kill.

Taylor Alston delivered 9 points, 9 digs and six kills. Sophie Babington had 7 points (3 aces), 6 kills and five digs. Alicyn Burford scored 6 points, to go along with 3 kills and three digs.

Hadlee Campbell recorded 6 kills and nine digs. Natalie Durish came away with 21 digs and a kill. Marley Kline contributed 7 kills, 5 digs and an ace. Rhiannon Copenhaver had 3 points (1 ace) and three digs.

Kelsey Best scored a point and Alivia Diehl delivered a kill.

With the win the Bobcats advance to tonight’s (Wednesday, October 18th) championship match against the Clarion-Limestone Lions. The contest is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.

The Lions earned their spot in the title matchup by defeating the Cranberry Berries, 3-1 in their semifinal.

The Bulldogs and Berries will face off in the consolation tilt at 6:00 p.m.
