Former Clarion Area Standout Aryana Girvan Named NJCAA Region 20 Division III Women’s Volleyball Player Of The Month For September

Former Clarion Bobcat standout Aryana Girvan, a three-time Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association (PVCA) Class 1-A All-State selection has been seeing some great success on the court with the Butler County Community College (BC3) Pioneers.

For her efforts, Aryana, a 5-foot-5 Outside Hitter, has been named the National Junior College (NJCAA) Region 20 Division III Women’s Volleyball Player of the Month For September, 2023.

Region 20 features twenty schools from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland.

BC3 Women’s Volleyball issued their congratulations to Aryana and listed some of her fine stats. “Congratulations to BC3 freshman Aryana Girvan for being selected as Region 20 player of the month for Division III. Girvan leads the team with 169 kills including a BC3 single match record-tying 27 against Penn State Greater Allegheny, which she amassed in just four sets. Girvan has recorded 10+ kills in eight matches for the Pioneers, who were ranked 13th in NJCAA DIII in the September 25th poll.”
