Grove City’s Isaac Allan Wins District 10 Class-AA Boys Golf Championship, Leads Eagles To Team Championship, Son of Former Clarion Area Football Coach Judd and Jessica Allan

Grove City High School freshman golfer Isaac Allan, whose parents are former Clarion Area Football Coach Judd and Jessica Allan, played in his first PIAA District 10 Class-AA Golf Championship on Monday and Tuesday, October 4th and 5th, at The Country Club of Meadville, winning the individual championship with a two-round total of 151.

Isaac shot a 74 on Monday and followed that by carding a 77 on Tuesday.

Heading to the last hole, Isaac was down by one stroke. He made an 18-foot birdie put to finish two strokes ahead of Lakeview’s Jackson Gadsby and Fairview’s Anthony Laboda, who both finished at 153.

Isaac’s 74 led the Eagles to the team championship on Monday. Grove City finished with a 325. His teammates scores included: Logan Goodrich at 81, Trent Nemec with an 83, Jimmy Irani at 87 and Cody Hamilton at 92. The lowest for scores were included in the team total.

Isaac will play in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Association (PIAA) Boys Class-AA Individual Competition, on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 16th and 17th, along with Trent who finished eighth. Coach Dennis Ranker’s Eagles will play in the team competition on the Thursday the 18th.

Warren’s Braddock Damore was the Boys Class-AAA Champion. Hickory’s Sasha Petrochko won the Girls Class-AA Championship and McDowell’s Alexis Marsh won the Girls Class-AAA Championship.
