Bobcats Host Moniteau In KSAC Cross Country, No Team Scores
The Clarion Area Bobcats hosted the Moniteau Warriors in a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference (KSAC) Cross Country meet, at Clarion County Park, on Tuesday (October 3rd).
One or both of the teams in each race had insufficient number of runners to have a team competition.
Varsity Boys
Moniteau didn’t have enough runners for a team score. The Bobcats’ Jonah Wilshire finished first overall, with a time of 18:44. Two other Cats finished in under twenty minutes, Josh Turner, with a 19:17.50 and Hayden Weber with a 19:37.31.
Other Clarion runners included: Ben Lambert (20:41.75), Caleb Turner (21:55.87), Anthony Bartley (22:32.79) and Wyatt Aaron 23:20.34).
Moniteau’s top runner was Peyton Beck (19:31.90).
Varsity Girls
Neither team had enough runners.
Raven Cunningham and Cecylia Bowser ran for Clarion. Raven posted a 29:47.18 and Cecylia ran a 33:59.43.
Moniteau, which had three runners, was led by Alexis Kirshner (34:51.27).
Junior Varsity Boys
Neither team had enough runners.
Blace Easion led Clarion with a 10:56.73. Other Bobcat runners included: Nick Frederick (13:00.92), Cash Gilmore (13:14.34) and Michael Troese (14:09.72).
Moniteau, which had two runners, was led by Baylen Rock (10:22.96).
Junior Varsity Girls
Alissa Brooks was the only runner for the Bobcats. She had a time of 13:04.10.
Moniteau had five runners and was led by Brinn Kirschner (11:55.97).
The Bobcats are set to participate in the Ridgway Invitational on Saturday (October 7th).
