Jase Ferguson, Braylon Beckwith, Hayden Hindman Garner Top Awards As Number Of Wildcats Named To District Nine Football League Region 1 All-Star Team

The District Nine Football League announced their Region All-Star Football Teams on Thursday, November 9th.

Three members of the 10-0 Region 1 Champion Central Clarion Wildcats, were Top Award Winners on the Region 1 All-Star Team.

Jase Ferguson was selected as the Offensive MVP. Braylon Beckwith was named the Defensive MVP and Hayden Hindman garnered the Defensive Lineman of the Year award.

Punxsutawney’s Matthew Grusky was selected Offensive Lineman of the Year and Karns City’s Joe Sherwin was named Coach of the Year.

The Wildcats’ trio lead a large Central Clarion contingent to make the squad.

Jase was named at Quarterback and Safety, Braylon was selected at Linebacker and Hayden received nods at Tight End and Defensive Line/Ends.

Dawson Smail and Mason Burford both were named at Wide Receiver/Slot Back and Cornerback, with Dawson also being selected as a Return Specialist. Coleman Slater was named Defensive Line/Ends. Brady Quinn was selected as a Safety and Thomas Uckert was named at Place Kicker.
