Bobcats Fall To Redbank Valley In KSAC Basketball Championship Girls Semifinal Matchup
The Clarion Area Bobcats fell to the Redbank Valley Bulldogs 45-31 in their Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Championship Girls semifinal matchup at PennWest-Clarion’s Tippin Gymnasium on Thursday (February 15th).
The Bulldogs led 15-5 after the first period, 23-11 at the half and 37-22 after three.
Marley Kline led the Bobcats with fifteen points. Taylor Alston added five points.
Natalie Durish and Aliviah Diehl scored 3 points apiece, while Sophie Babington and Gia Babington recorded two points each.
Mylee Harmon led the Bulldogs with a game-high 22 points and Addy Bond contributed twelve.
The Bulldogs will face Karns City in the championship game on Saturday (February 18th).
The Bobcats will play next play in the District Nine Class 1A playoffs next Thursday (February 22nd) at North Clarion. The Bobcats are the number 5 seed and the Wolves are the number 4 seed.
